We had a great time during our romantic escape. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, with tasteful and quality furnishings. The bed and shower were excellent, and everything we needed was provided. The owners were warm and welcoming, and the surrounding landscape was idyllic and peaceful. We loved being surrounded by beautiful mountains and the sounds of nature.
That there was no shower head in the upstairs bath, which made it difficult for the children's baths. the cabin was located in an isolated area, so a car was necessary to get around.

Comfortable and picturesque apartment with well-appointed kitchen. Outdoor seating area is very appealing on a sunny afternoon. Peaceful location surrounded by beautiful nature.
Nonstick pans were in poor condition. the upstairs sleeping area is not acoustically isolated from the living area, causing noise disturbances.

The location of this countryside cottage is truly breathtaking, with splendid views of the surrounding fields and easy access to beautiful walking trails. The cottage itself is cozy and comfortable, featuring underfloor heating and a lovely wood burner. The kitchen facilities are complete, including a dishwasher, and there is ample seating space for relaxation.
Some guests mentioned the narrowness of one of the bedrooms, which may be a minor inconvenience for those expecting side-by-side beds.

Ideal location to disconnect from the busyness of life. Lovely host and beautiful walks all around. Within a short drive to major attractions and amenities. Clean and comfy beds with plenty of space to unpack. Lovely shower and all nicely laid out. Plenty of kitchen appliances and a dishwasher. A nice big modern TV for entertainment and decent WiFi.
It was further away than I thought to some attractions but that was my fault for not doing more research. The single track roads can be challenging and require confident driving skills and occasional reversing for other traffic.

We had a delightful stay at Thornthwaite Farm Villa. The one-bedroom house was beautiful and comfortable, with a spacious living area and a well-equipped kitchen. We loved sitting in the garden, enjoying meals while watching the sheep. The owners were friendly and provided a warm welcome. The location was incredibly peaceful, yet only a short drive away from villages, pubs, and shops. The laminated sheet with suggested walks was a great addition, allowing us to easily explore the surroundings from our doorstep.
